Four teams advance to the semifinals to be played released tomorrow.
In the Cotton Bowl #4 Seed T C U stopped Tim Tebow and #5 Seed Florida in an exciting game that went to overtime, before the Horned Frogs won 20-16.
In the Capital One Bowl, #6 Seed Boise State knocked off #3 Seed Cincinnati 38-20 in a battle of previously unbeaten teams. The Bearcats couldn’t stop the Bronco running game as Jeremy Avery rushed for 126 yards and Doug Martin rushed for 102.
In the Rose Bowl, #2 Seed Texas showed its defensive prowess in a 20-9 win over #7 Seed Oregon.
In the Sugar Bowl, there was a huge upset. #9 Seed Georgia Tech scored touchdowns on its final two possessions to pull off a 24-23 win over #1 Seed Alabama. The Yellow Jackets won despite no completed passes. Jonathan Dwyer scored the game-winner on a 74 yard run with 2:17 remaining in the game.

Hello PiRate Ratings. Is Vanderbuilder still particpating in these ratings and simulations? I miss reading your columns at Vanderbilt athletics; the forum went downhill big time after you left.
