Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament Bracket Set

Last night, the Atlantic Sun Conference concluded regular season play with Lipscomb and Liberty sharing the conference championship.  Lipscomb won the tiebreaker, and the Bisons get the number one seed and can host every game they play in this tournament.  A secondary reward is an automatic NIT bid should they lose the conference tournament.

Florida Gulf Coast made a strong kick in the final week, winning twice to sneak into the number four slot, while NJIT fell on the final night to drop to number five.  The Highlanders finished 2-6 after starting the year at 18-5.

North Florida is the hot team in the league.  The Ospreys won their final six games to earn the three-seed.  In that run, North Florida topped Liberty to destroy the flames’ chances of winning the A-Sun regular title outright.

This tournament is played strictly on the home floors of the higher seeded teams.  Lipscomb went 11-2 at home this year in Allen Arena, with Liberty being one of those two losses.
