PiRate Picks For College and Pro Football–October 11-15, 2012

It was the best of times; it was the worst of times for the PiRate Picks last week.  On Saturday, we had a wonderful day beating Vegas, but on Sunday, we gave it all back.

For the season, our congregant record against the spread is 56-55-0.  That represents a minor loss for the season.

Usually, it is our pro selections which are more accurate, but this year the college selections are leading the pack.  Breaking down the selections, we were 7-3 in straight picks on sides, 1-0 in our moneyline parlay, and 5-3 in our 10-point teasers for a total of 13-6.

Hopefully, this is becoming a trend.  To date this season with our college selections, our straight picks on sides are winning 60% of the time, and our 10-point teasers have been correct 55% of the time.  Our 13-point teasers and moneyline parlays have split even.

We will go with a heavy dose of college games this week and fewer NFL games.
