Pro Football Computer Simulation: Week 12-November 24, 2008

 

The Pro Football Computer Simulation for 2008-09 takes the 32 current franchises in the NFL and selects, from the years 1981 to 2008, an outstanding season for these teams.

 

The simulation uses the actual 2008-09 NFL schedule and then plays the game with the computer acting as coach of both teams.  I have no interaction or partiality in this.  The computer generates a play-by-play and box score for every game.

 

The PiRate Ratings you see are the same ratings for the real NFL, as these ratings only need final scores and strength of schedule.

 

Last year’s simulation of teams from 1960 to 1979 saw the 1967 Oakland Raiders defeating the 1968 Dallas Cowboys in Simulated Super Bowl I.
